Tulista marginata quick care tips
Watering
Watering
Tulista marginata is a drought-tolerant succulent variety, so watering around once per week in the peak growing season is advised. Ensure the soil dries between waterings following the 3 Ds: drench, drain and dry. It is also advised to completely stop watering when conditions are frosty, keeping the plant dry for several months at a time over winter.
Feeding
Feeding
Tulista marginata likes to be fed to bring out its best forms and colours. We recommend feeding with a liquid seaweed feed every 2 weeks in the main growing season from April to September.
Ideal soil
Ideal soil
Tulista marginata needs free draining soil to thrive. We recommend a mixture of 1/3 John Innes no.2, 1/3 perlite and 1/3 coconut coir. The soil mix we offer here is similar in composition to this.

Tulista marginata
The species of Tulista has recently separated away from Haworthia, but much like Haworthias, they are very easy to grow and make amazing houseplants. The Tulista marginata is one of the most striking and structural forms of the species, this rare succulent can often grow as a single rosette.
The leaves are dotted with white specks along the back of the leaf and along the leaf margins giving the plant a beautiful appearance.
