Sedum pachyphyllum 'Rose' is a drought-tolerant succulent variety, so watering around once per week in the peak growing season is advised. Ensure the soil dries between waterings following the 3 Ds: drench, drain and dry. It is also advised to completely stop watering when conditions are frosty, keeping the plant dry for several months at a time over winter.

Sedum pachyphyllum 'Rose' likes to be fed to bring out its best forms and colours. We recommend feeding with a liquid seaweed feed every 2 weeks in the main growing season from April to September.

Sedum pachyphyllum 'Rose' needs free draining soil to thrive. We recommend a mixture of 1/3 John Innes no.2, 1/3 perlite and 1/3 coconut coir. The soil mix we offer here is similar in composition to this.

Sedum pachyphyllum 'Rose'
Also known as Jelly Beans, a species native to Mexico.
A very attractive compact but upright growing succulent. This certain Sedum will develop stunning red tinges on the outer tips of the leaves. It is also notable for its unusual drooping flower stem.
Excellent for adding height to a succulent bowl.
