Sedum dasyphyllum minor quick care tips
Watering
Watering
Sedum dasyphyllum minor is a drought-tolerant succulent variety, so watering around once per week in the peak growing season is advised. Ensure the soil dries between waterings following the 3 Ds: drench, drain and dry. It is also advised to completely stop watering when conditions are frosty, keeping the plant dry for several months at a time over winter.
Feeding
Feeding
Sedum dasyphyllum minor likes to be fed to bring out its best forms and colours. We recommend feeding with a liquid seaweed feed every 2 weeks in the main growing season from April to September. A feed we recommend is the one from our friends at LittleGreenSeaweed.
Ideal soil
Ideal soil
Sedum dasyphyllum minor needs free draining soil to thrive. We recommend a mixture of 1/3 John Innes no.2, 1/3 perlite and 1/3 coconut coir. The soil mix we offer here is similar in composition to this.

Sedum dasyphyllum minor
This Sedum species is one of the smallest succulents available.
It has a great variation of colours, as it can change from green, to blue and even pink in strong light. The leaves tend to fall off extremely easily, so be careful when handling but don't be scared, as each detached leaf will likely grow a new plant. Can be grown outdoors due to its hardiness, either to fill gaps as a matting plant or as a trailing plant in a hanging basket. It will produce white star-shaped flowers in the summer, which are attractive to bees and other pollinators.
Will be shipped with soil remaining due to fragility.
