Faucaria tuberculosa quick care tips
Watering
Watering
Faucaria tuberculosa is a drought-tolerant succulent variety, so watering around once per week in the peak growing season is advised. Ensure the soil dries between waterings following the 3 Ds: drench, drain and dry. It is also advised to completely stop watering when conditions are frosty, keeping the plant dry for several months at a time over winter.
Feeding
Feeding
Faucaria tuberculosa likes to be fed to bring out its best forms and colours. We recommend feeding with a liquid seaweed feed every 2 weeks in the main growing season from April to September. A feed we recommend is the one from our friends at LittleGreenSeaweed.
Ideal soil
Ideal soil
Faucaria tuberculosa needs free draining soil to thrive. We recommend a mixture of 1/3 John Innes no.2, 1/3 perlite and 1/3 coconut coir. The soil mix we offer here is similar in composition to this.

Faucaria tuberculosa
Faucaria tuberculosa or more commonly know as Pebbled Tiger Jaws is a prehistoric-looking succulent. As it produces its new fang shaped leaves it looks fierce but in fact, it is quite soft to touch.
There are roughly just over 30 species of this compact clump-forming succulent, and as you can see they produce these beautifully bright yellow flowers during the cooler months. They are great fun and perfect for kids that like plants with character.
They respond to watering in the winter, so water once soil drys.
