Echeveria tolimanensis is a rare species from Mexico, named for its locality in Barranca de Tolimán.
This species is sometimes mistaken as a Pachyphytum due to its larger, fleshy leaves. It consists of a structural and tight rosette with beautiful growth markings on a pale-pink leaf, the leaf tips feature almost agavoides type spikes. Once mature, the lower leaves will grow long and point upwards, making it a very fierce-looking plant. This variety blooms in spring and will throw off an abundance of bell-shaped flowers of pink and yellow colouring.
A great feature plant, especially when mature.
