Echeveria runyonii quick care tips
Watering
Watering
Echeveria runyonii is a drought-tolerant succulent variety, so watering around once per week in the peak growing season is advised. Ensure the soil dries between waterings. It is also advised to completely stop watering when conditions are frosty, keeping the plant dry for several months at a time.
Feeding
Feeding
Echeveria runyonii likes to be fed to bring out its best forms and colours. We recommend feeding with a liquid seaweed feed every 2 weeks in the main growing season from April to September. A feed we recommend is the one from our friends at LittleGreenSeaweed.
Ideal soil
Ideal soil
Echeveria runyonii needs free draining soil to thrive. We recommend a mixture of 1/3 John Innes no.2, 1/3 perlite and 1/3 coconut coir. The soil mix we offer here is similar in composition to this. Adding extra grit may be useful to add even more drainage for these desert-dwellers.

Echeveria runyonii
Echeveria runyonii is a cultivated plant and no habitat is known, found in a garden in Mexico.
Echeveria runyonii has powdery grey-blue leaves on quite large stemless rosettes (about 20cm). The leaves in-curve slightly to give a bowl effect. Striking rich coloured flowers are produced in a graceful double shepherd's crook flower stem.
A perfect house plant, displaying an array of different colours throughout the year. Would also look amazing in a terrarium.
