Echeveria mexicensis quick care tips
Watering
Watering
Echeveria mexicensis is a drought-tolerant succulent variety, so watering around once per week in the peak growing season is advised. Ensure the soil dries between waterings. It is also advised to completely stop watering when conditions are frosty, keeping the plant dry for several months at a time.
Feeding
Feeding
Echeveria mexicensis likes to be fed to bring out its best forms and colours. We recommend feeding with a liquid seaweed feed every 2 weeks in the main growing season from April to September.
Ideal soil
Ideal soil
Echeveria mexicensis needs free draining soil to thrive. We recommend a mixture of 1/3 John Innes no.2, 1/3 perlite and 1/3 coconut coir. The soil mix we offer here is similar in composition to this. Adding extra grit may be useful to add even more drainage for these desert-dwellers.

Echeveria mexicensis
Echeveria mexicensis is a species native to Mexico, it can be found growing in the pine forests.
It features beautiful powdery, blue leaves with pink markings on the leaf tips. The flower spikes are large and come in numbers, they contain large bell-shaped flowers with hints of yellow and orange.
A lovely, white succulent. You can always distinguish this one from your other ones due to it's smaller size and unusually perfect rosette. It would look fantastic planted indoors with other succulents in an arrangement, or terrarium.
