Echeveria lozano quick care tips
Watering
Watering
Echeveria lozano is a drought-tolerant succulent variety, so watering around once per week in the peak growing season is advised. Ensure the soil dries between waterings. It is also advised to completely stop watering when conditions are frosty, keeping the plant dry for several months at a time.
Feeding
Feeding
Echeveria lozano likes to be fed to bring out its best forms and colours. We recommend feeding with a liquid seaweed feed every 2 weeks in the main growing season from April to September. A feed we recommend is the one from our friends at LittleGreenSeaweed.
Ideal soil
Ideal soil
Echeveria lozano needs free draining soil to thrive. We recommend a mixture of 1/3 John Innes no.2, 1/3 perlite and 1/3 coconut coir. The soil mix we offer here is similar in composition to this. Adding extra grit may be useful to add even more drainage for these desert-dwellers.

Echeveria lozano
Echeveria lozano, native to Jalisco in Mexico, is an imported cultivation of the ancient plant, meaning it is not a true form, the true form no longer exists in nature.
This cultivar is a beautiful specimen with curly silvery-blue leaves. Under strong light the leaf tips will glow with a fire-red outline. It will shoot off 30-40cm long flower stalks carrying light copper-coloured flowers.
A great plant to mix with other succulents and indoor house plants, or as a standalone on a windowsill.
