Echeveria lindsayana quick care tips
Watering
Watering
Echeveria lindsayana is a drought-tolerant succulent variety, so watering around once per week in the peak growing season is advised. Ensure the soil dries between waterings. It is also advised to completely stop watering when conditions are frosty, keeping the plant dry for several months at a time.
Feeding
Feeding
Echeveria lindsayana likes to be fed to bring out its best forms and colours. We recommend feeding with a liquid seaweed feed every 2 weeks in the main growing season from April to September.
Ideal soil
Ideal soil
Echeveria lindsayana needs free draining soil to thrive. We recommend a mixture of 1/3 John Innes no.2, 1/3 perlite and 1/3 coconut coir. The soil mix we offer here is similar in composition to this. Adding extra grit may be useful to add even more drainage for these desert-dwellers.

Echeveria lindsayana
Echeveria lindsayana has been used by ourselves and other breeders as a parent plant to many hybrids due to its great form and colouration.
This attractive form is very strong and unlike some Echeveria that replenish their leaves regularly, this one holds its lower leaves for a long time so mature specimens can grow quite large with great colouration on the older leaves. It will also get a brighter and deeper red colouration when grown in strong light and more of a 'dusty' pink the rest of the time.
A great house plant for any windowsill.
