Echeveria jovibar quick care tips

Watering

Echeveria jovibar is a drought-tolerant succulent variety, so watering around once per week in the peak growing season is advised. Ensure the soil dries between waterings. It is also advised to completely stop watering when conditions are frosty, keeping the plant dry for several months at a time.

Feeding

Echeveria jovibar likes to be fed to bring out its best forms and colours. We recommend feeding with a liquid seaweed feed every 2 weeks in the main growing season from April to September.

Ideal soil

Echeveria jovibar needs free draining soil to thrive. We recommend a mixture of 1/3 John Innes no.2, 1/3 perlite and 1/3 coconut coir. The soil mix we offer here is similar in composition to this. Adding extra grit may be useful to add even more drainage for these desert-dwellers.

A stunning variety of unknown origin.

Echeveria jovibar is a small, white succulent that will blush a very slight pink under strong light. It flowers in spring most years and will grow mostly during the cooler months of March-May and September-November.

A very pretty plant that will brighten up any succulent display.
