Watering

Echeveria derosa 'Worfield Wonder' is a drought-tolerant succulent variety, so watering around once per week in the peak growing season is advised. Ensure the soil dries between waterings. It is also advised to completely stop watering when conditions are frosty, keeping the plant dry for several months at a time.

Feeding

Echeveria derosa 'Worfield Wonder' likes to be fed to bring out its best forms and colours. We recommend feeding with a liquid seaweed feed every 2 weeks in the main growing season from April to September.

Ideal soil

Echeveria derosa 'Worfield Wonder' needs free draining soil to thrive. We recommend a mixture of 1/3 John Innes no.2, 1/3 perlite and 1/3 coconut coir. The soil mix we offer here is similar in composition to this. Adding extra grit may be useful to add even more drainage for these desert-dwellers.

Echeveria derosa 'Worfield Wonder'

A hybrid of Echeveria derenbergii x Echeveria setosa.

Echeveria derosa 'Worfield Wonder' is a fantastic, tough succulent of green colouring. The leaves are short, hairy and point upwards, creating a fierce-looking specimen. Under strong light, the tips will blush red. It displays a gorgeous array of red flowers in the spring.

A great mixer plant.
