Crassula perforata quick care tips
Watering
Watering
Crassula perforata is a drought-tolerant succulent variety, so watering around once per week in the peak growing season is advised. Ensure the soil dries between waterings following the 3 Ds: drench, drain and dry. It is also advised to completely stop watering when conditions are frosty, keeping the plant dry for several months at a time over winter.
Feeding
Feeding
Crassula perforata likes to be fed to bring out its best forms and colours. We recommend feeding with a liquid seaweed feed every 2 weeks in the main growing season from April to September.
Ideal soil
Ideal soil
Crassula perforata needs free draining soil to thrive. We recommend a mixture of 1/3 John Innes no.2, 1/3 perlite and 1/3 coconut coir. The soil mix we offer here is similar in composition to this.

Crassula perforata
This fantastic succulent is native to South Africa which has very unusual and attractive leaves.
It will form a spreading clump and makes an ideal houseplant but can also be grown outside. The red leaf edges will intensify in full sun and the rest of the plant turns silvery green with freckled dots on the tips and edges.
Great to add texture to a terrarium or planter.
