Crassula nudicaulis var. herrei quick care tips
Watering
Watering
Crassula nudicaulis var. herrei is a drought-tolerant succulent variety, so watering around once per week in the peak growing season is advised. Ensure the soil dries between waterings following the 3 Ds: drench, drain and dry. It is also advised to completely stop watering when conditions are frosty, keeping the plant dry for several months at a time over winter.
Feeding
Feeding
Crassula nudicaulis var. herrei likes to be fed to bring out its best forms and colours. We recommend feeding with a liquid seaweed feed every 2 weeks in the main growing season from April to September. A feed we recommend is the one from our friends at LittleGreenSeaweed.
Ideal soil
Ideal soil
Crassula nudicaulis var. herrei needs free draining soil to thrive. We recommend a mixture of 1/3 John Innes no.2, 1/3 perlite and 1/3 coconut coir. The soil mix we offer here is similar in composition to this.

Crassula nudicaulis var. herrei
A succulent native to South Africa.
This Crassula features a wonderful structural leaf form with a beautiful red blush at the tips and leaf margins of each fleshy leaf. It offsets readily from the stem. If watered sparingly, this plant is extremely easy to keep. It blooms in spring through summer with small, green flowers.
Spreads easily to fill a pot, would look great in a succulent bowl.
