Aloe 'Marco' quick care tips

Watering

Aloe 'Marco' is a drought-tolerant succulent variety, so watering around once per week in the peak growing season is advised. Ensure the soil dries between waterings following the 3 Ds: drench, drain and dry. It is also advised to completely stop watering when conditions are frosty, keeping the plant dry for several months at a time over winter.

Feeding

Aloe 'Marco' likes to be fed to bring out its best forms and colours. We recommend feeding with a liquid seaweed feed every 2 weeks in the main growing season from April to September.

Ideal soil

Aloe 'Marco' needs free draining soil to thrive. We recommend a mixture of 1/3 John Innes no.2, 1/3 perlite and 1/3 coconut coir. The soil mix we offer here is similar in composition to this.

Aloe 'Marco'

Aloe 'Marco' is a Proven Winners selected hybrid.

This plant features beautiful colouring of sea-blue to green throughout the leaves. Along the leaf margins are some orange teeth and to top it off, there are some white markings all down the leaf.

Perfect for a windowsill or a shady spot. Will go a lighter green/blue under strong light levels. This hybrid will add great contrast to your succulent bowl.
