Aloe hemingii 1 quick care tips
Watering
Watering
Aloe hemingii 1 is a drought-tolerant succulent variety, so watering around once per week in the peak growing season is advised. Ensure the soil dries between waterings following the 3 Ds: drench, drain and dry. It is also advised to completely stop watering when conditions are frosty, keeping the plant dry for several months at a time over winter.
Feeding
Feeding
Aloe hemingii 1 likes to be fed to bring out its best forms and colours. We recommend feeding with a liquid seaweed feed every 2 weeks in the main growing season from April to September.
Ideal soil
Ideal soil
Aloe hemingii 1 needs free draining soil to thrive. We recommend a mixture of 1/3 John Innes no.2, 1/3 perlite and 1/3 coconut coir. The soil mix we offer here is similar in composition to this.

Aloe hemingii 1
The Aloe hemmingii is a small-medium sized species with a striking starfish look. It screams underwater coral because of it’s beautiful green-bronze colouring with white speckles. A very easy plant to grow. It shoots off offsets rarely but flowers all throughout the year with orange/pinkish colours. It also features, like many Aloes, sharp teeth around the edges of each fleshy, tough leaf.
