Aichryson tortuosum quick care tips

Watering

The Aichryson tortuosum would like watering between once and twice per week in the peak growing season. It is advised to reduce watering when plants are dormant due to a heatwave and to significantly reduce/ stop watering when conditions are frosty.

Feeding

Aichryson tortuosum likes to be fed to bring out its best forms and colours. We recommend feeding with a liquid seaweed feed every 2 weeks in the main growing season from April to September.

Ideal soil

Aichryson tortuosum needs free draining soil to thrive. We recommend a mixture of 1/3 John Innes no.2, 1/3 perlite and 1/3 coconut coir. The soil mix we offer here is similar in composition to this.

Aichryson tortuosum

A beautiful but delicate looking Aichryson that grows tight formed rosettes, works really well when potted with other succulents.

It has beautiful, waxy-wet looking globular leaves that blush a pinkish colour in high light levels.

They are very easy succulents to grow just like their close relatives Aeonium and make wonderful patio or rockery plants. Long lasting bright yellow flowers every spring.
