Aeonium x loartei quick care tips
Watering
Watering
The Aeonium x loartei would like watering between once and twice per week in the peak growing season. It is advised to reduce watering when plants are dormant due to a heatwave and to significantly reduce/ stop watering when conditions are frosty.
Feeding
Feeding
Aeonium x loartei likes to be fed to bring out its best forms and colours. We recommend feeding with a liquid seaweed feed every 2 weeks in the main growing season from April to September. A feed we recommend is the one from our friends at LittleGreenSeaweed.
Ideal soil
Ideal soil
Aeonium x loartei needs free draining soil to thrive. We recommend a mixture of 1/3 John Innes no.2, 1/3 perlite and 1/3 coconut coir. The soil mix we offer here is similar in composition to this.
Aeonium x loartei
A lovely compact hybrid with fantastic green rosettes with strong red markings. It is a hybrid of Aeonium sedifolium and Aeonium spathulatum and has the best qualities of both. Also named as Aeonium arnoldii.

As always I am delighted with my purchases and in particular my latest acquisition with a combined lovely looking fresh green and tinged with red to really set it off. To send a photo would be great but I am not able to. Go on tread yourself and enjoy.
