Aeonium 'Fire Glow' quick care tips
Watering
Watering
The Aeonium 'Fire Glow' would like watering between once and twice per week in the peak growing season. It is advised to reduce watering when plants are dormant due to a heatwave and to significantly reduce/ stop watering when conditions are frosty.
Feeding
Feeding
Aeonium 'Fire Glow' likes to be fed to bring out its best forms and colours. We recommend feeding with a liquid seaweed feed every 2 weeks in the main growing season from April to September. A feed we recommend is the one from our friends at LittleGreenSeaweed.
Ideal soil
Ideal soil
Aeonium 'Fire Glow' needs free draining soil to thrive. We recommend a mixture of 1/3 John Innes no.2, 1/3 perlite and 1/3 coconut coir. The soil mix we offer here is similar in composition to this.
Aeonium 'Fire Glow'
A dark, thick-leaved Aeonium hybrid. It's been in the surreal collection for a number of years and is believed to have originated in Cornwall. Grows to a large size in little over a year. Features dark black colouring with tints of fire-red. A great name for a great specimen.
