Aeonium 'Copper Kettle' quick care tips
Watering
Watering
The Aeonium 'Copper Kettle' would like watering between once and twice per week in the peak growing season. It is advised to reduce watering when plants are dormant due to a heatwave and to significantly reduce/ stop watering when conditions are frosty.
Feeding
Feeding
Aeonium 'Copper Kettle' likes to be fed to bring out its best forms and colours. We recommend feeding with a liquid seaweed feed every 2 weeks in the main growing season from April to September. A feed we recommend is the one from our friends at LittleGreenSeaweed.
Ideal soil
Ideal soil
Aeonium 'Copper Kettle' needs free draining soil to thrive. We recommend a mixture of 1/3 John Innes no.2, 1/3 perlite and 1/3 coconut coir. The soil mix we offer here is similar in composition to this.
Aeonium 'Copper Kettle'
Turns a rich copper colour in good light, hence the name. A strong grower which will offset once it reaches a certain height. A great starter Aeonium for beginners and an exciting addition to any succulent collection.
A lovely American hybrid of unknown parentage. Could potentially be a hybrid of Aeonium tabuliforme due to the flat rosette.
It may even make you a cup of tea if treated well enough!
