Watering

The Aeonium castello-paviae var. sarae would like watering between once and twice per week in the peak growing season. It is advised to reduce watering when plants are dormant due to a heatwave and to significantly reduce/ stop watering when conditions are frosty.

Feeding

Aeonium castello-paviae var. sarae likes to be fed to bring out its best forms and colours. We recommend feeding with a liquid seaweed feed every 2 weeks in the main growing season from April to September. A feed we recommend is the one from our friends at LittleGreenSeaweed.

Ideal soil

Aeonium castello-paviae var. sarae needs free draining soil to thrive. We recommend a mixture of 1/3 John Innes no.2, 1/3 perlite and 1/3 coconut coir. The soil mix we offer here is similar in composition to this.

Aeonium castello-paviae var. sarae

A delicate Aeonium castello-paviae variety.

Pink tinges grace the edges of the leaves when exposed to strong sunlight in the summer. Offsets like crazy to form a beautiful, full succulent shrub. Cuttings can easily be taken to be given to friends and family.

Would be ideal in a rockery, on a granite wall or in a stadalone pot wherever you please.
