Watering

The Aeonium arboreum 'Tip Top' would like watering between once and twice per week in the peak growing season. It is advised to reduce watering when plants are dormant due to a heatwave and to significantly reduce/ stop watering when conditions are frosty.

Feeding

Aeonium arboreum 'Tip Top' likes to be fed to bring out its best forms and colours. We recommend feeding with a liquid seaweed feed every 2 weeks in the main growing season from April to September. A feed we recommend is the one from our friends at LittleGreenSeaweed.

Ideal soil

Aeonium arboreum 'Tip Top' needs free draining soil to thrive. We recommend a mixture of 1/3 John Innes no.2, 1/3 perlite and 1/3 coconut coir. The soil mix we offer here is similar in composition to this.

This variation of arboreum is so unusual due to its extreme offsetting, even from a small cutting. The colours range from green, fading to dark black towards the end of the leaves. Perfect potted plant.
