x Graptoveria 'Supernova' is a drought-tolerant succulent variety, so watering around once per week in the peak growing season is advised. Ensure the soil dries between waterings following the 3 Ds: drench, drain and dry. It is also advised to completely stop watering when conditions are frosty, keeping the plant dry for several months at a time over winter.

x Graptoveria 'Supernova' likes to be fed to bring out its best forms and colours. We recommend feeding with a liquid seaweed feed every 2 weeks in the main growing season from April to September.

x Graptoveria 'Supernova' needs free draining soil to thrive. We recommend a mixture of 1/3 John Innes no.2, 1/3 perlite and 1/3 coconut coir. The soil mix we offer here is similar in composition to this.

x Graptoveria 'Supernova'
x Graptoveria 'Supernova', a 2020 introduction, produces layers of velvety-blue slender leaves as the leaves age they explode with an array of different colours, such as yellows and pinks.
Parentage is unknown, but a unique feature on this succulent is the marbling effect on the leaves when mature, suggesting that one of its parents could be Echeveria zaragoza.
We have found these plants to be strong growers, with the form and colours of this variety very different than other succulents in the collection.
