Echeveria subsessilis f. variegata quick care tips
Watering
Watering
Echeveria subsessilis f. variegata is a drought-tolerant succulent variety, so watering around once per week in the peak growing season is advised. Ensure the soil dries between waterings. It is also advised to completely stop watering when conditions are frosty, keeping the plant dry for several months at a time.
Feeding
Feeding
Echeveria subsessilis f. variegata likes to be fed to bring out its best forms and colours. We recommend feeding with a liquid seaweed feed every 2 weeks in the main growing season from April to September. A feed we recommend is the one from our friends at LittleGreenSeaweed.
Ideal soil
Ideal soil
Echeveria subsessilis f. variegata needs free draining soil to thrive. We recommend a mixture of 1/3 John Innes no.2, 1/3 perlite and 1/3 coconut coir. The soil mix we offer here is similar in composition to this. Adding extra grit may be useful to add even more drainage for these desert-dwellers.

Echeveria subsessilis f. variegata
Echeveria subsessilis variegated is a beautiful variation of the perfectly formed Echeveria subsessilis.
This plant features a spoon shaped leaf that consists of the subsessilis pale colouring, combined with a yellow strip on the leaf margins which have hints of red towards the tips to create a different array of colouring. Like most Echeveria, this plant also blooms in the spring with white flower stalks.
A flamboyant plant to add your collection, would look great as a feature house plant.
