Echeveria perbella quick care tips

Watering

Echeveria perbella is a drought-tolerant succulent variety, so watering around once per week in the peak growing season is advised. Ensure the soil dries between waterings. It is also advised to completely stop watering when conditions are frosty, keeping the plant dry for several months at a time.

Feeding

Echeveria perbella likes to be fed to bring out its best forms and colours. We recommend feeding with a liquid seaweed feed every 2 weeks in the main growing season from April to September.

Ideal soil

Echeveria perbella needs free draining soil to thrive. We recommend a mixture of 1/3 John Innes no.2, 1/3 perlite and 1/3 coconut coir. The soil mix we offer here is similar in composition to this. Adding extra grit may be useful to add even more drainage for these desert-dwellers.

Echeveria perbella

One of the few Echeveria of unknown origins.

A lovely glaucous succulent that picks up lovely colours on its outer leaves, tips and edges in the summer months. It has such an unusual shape, making it a one of a kind. It blooms in late spring with purple spikes that carry pink bell-shaped flowers.

Would sit perfectly in a succulent bowl.
