Echeveria 'Pastel Rose' quick care tips

Watering

Echeveria 'Pastel Rose' is a drought-tolerant succulent variety, so watering around once per week in the peak growing season is advised. Ensure the soil dries between waterings. It is also advised to completely stop watering when conditions are frosty, keeping the plant dry for several months at a time.

Feeding

Echeveria 'Pastel Rose' likes to be fed to bring out its best forms and colours. We recommend feeding with a liquid seaweed feed every 2 weeks in the main growing season from April to September.

Ideal soil

Echeveria 'Pastel Rose' needs free draining soil to thrive. We recommend a mixture of 1/3 John Innes no.2, 1/3 perlite and 1/3 coconut coir. The soil mix we offer here is similar in composition to this. Adding extra grit may be useful to add even more drainage for these desert-dwellers.

Echeveria 'Pastel Rose'

A 2017 introduction to the Echeveria Universe by Surreal Succulents.

It consists of a beautiful rose-like rosette, soft slightly hairy leaves and delicate pastel colouring. It's small in shape but offsets a lot from the centre to create a beautiful clump of pastel colours. The flowers are dominant and really contrast orange against the green/dark-red of the rosette.

It would sit well to fill a pot.
