Echeveria 'Moana' quick care tips

Watering

Echeveria 'Moana' is a drought-tolerant succulent variety, so watering around once per week in the peak growing season is advised. Ensure the soil dries between waterings. It is also advised to completely stop watering when conditions are frosty, keeping the plant dry for several months at a time.

Feeding

Echeveria 'Moana' likes to be fed to bring out its best forms and colours. We recommend feeding with a liquid seaweed feed every 2 weeks in the main growing season from April to September.

Ideal soil

Echeveria 'Moana' needs free draining soil to thrive. We recommend a mixture of 1/3 John Innes no.2, 1/3 perlite and 1/3 coconut coir. The soil mix we offer here is similar in composition to this. Adding extra grit may be useful to add even more drainage for these desert-dwellers.

Echeveria 'Moana'

A 2018 introduction by Surreal Succulents.

This exciting Echeveria 'Moana' changes in colour like the Cornish sea. One of the parents is Echeveria 'Chrissy n Ryan', which has survived under snow and temperatures down to -5°C.

We have added extra pictures of this variety to show how different in colour it can be at any time.
Our mother plants offset freely producing tight, compact clusters which can be split and planted where the conditions may suit.
