Echeveria 'Gangnam' quick care tips
Watering
Watering
Echeveria 'Gangnam' is a drought-tolerant succulent variety, so watering around once per week in the peak growing season is advised. Ensure the soil dries between waterings. It is also advised to completely stop watering when conditions are frosty, keeping the plant dry for several months at a time.
Feeding
Feeding
Echeveria 'Gangnam' likes to be fed to bring out its best forms and colours. We recommend feeding with a liquid seaweed feed every 2 weeks in the main growing season from April to September. A feed we recommend is the one from our friends at LittleGreenSeaweed.
Ideal soil
Ideal soil
Echeveria 'Gangnam' needs free draining soil to thrive. We recommend a mixture of 1/3 John Innes no.2, 1/3 perlite and 1/3 coconut coir. The soil mix we offer here is similar in composition to this. Adding extra grit may be useful to add even more drainage for these desert-dwellers.

A 2016 hybrid released by Surreal Succulents.
This variety of Echeveria features delicate glaucous leaves upon a tight, structural rosette. It starts off with blue colouring and will display shades of fire-red in full sun. It flowers in the spring with bright coral-pink bell-shaped flowers.
Does well planted in a succulent bowl or pot among others. Indoors or outdoors is fine as long as its needs for high light and low water are met. Keep out of frosts.
