We love this quirky little Aloe, it produces this vibrant bright pale green rosettes covered in these protective semi-soft thorns that are definitely less harmful to touch than to look at.

Once potted on, this succulent will produce offsets from the base of the plant, and if grown in strong light with little feed or water the leaves will produce an attractive red colouring.

They make perfect houseplants for the south, east or west facing windowsills.

Aloe juvenna | Tiger Tooth Aloe is delivered bare-root and will need time to establish in its new pot. Unpack it carefully, remove the protective material and check that the leaves, stems and roots have arrived in good condition.

Watering

Light and position

Summer care

Move the plant away from intense afternoon sunshine if the leaves begin to scorch. Plants grown behind glass can become much hotter than the surrounding air, so ventilate greenhouses and conservatories during heatwaves.

Repotting
