Watering

The Aichryson bethencourtianum f. variegatum would like watering between once and twice per week in the peak growing season. It is advised to reduce watering when plants are dormant due to a heatwave and to significantly reduce/ stop watering when conditions are frosty.

Feeding

Aichryson bethencourtianum f. variegatum likes to be fed to bring out its best forms and colours. We recommend feeding with a liquid seaweed feed every 2 weeks in the main growing season from April to September. A feed we recommend is the one from our friends at LittleGreenSeaweed.

Ideal soil

Aichryson bethencourtianum f. variegatum needs free draining soil to thrive. We recommend a mixture of 1/3 John Innes no.2, 1/3 perlite and 1/3 coconut coir. The soil mix we offer here is similar in composition to this.

A diminutive succulent that forms low growing, indeterminately spreading clumps. A great choice for companion planting with larger succulents.

It will blush a bright pink given lots of light and poor soil. Produces bright yellow flowers every year.
