x Graptoveria ‘Nyla Blue’ quick care tips

Watering

x Graptoveria ‘Nyla Blue’ is a drought-tolerant succulent variety, so watering around once per week in the peak growing season is advised. Ensure the soil dries between waterings following the 3 Ds: drench, drain and dry. It is also advised to completely stop watering when conditions are frosty, keeping the plant dry for several months at a time over winter.

Feeding

x Graptoveria ‘Nyla Blue’ likes to be fed to bring out its best forms and colours. We recommend feeding with a liquid seaweed feed every 2 weeks in the main growing season from April to September. A feed we recommend is the one from our friends at LittleGreenSeaweed.

Ideal soil

x Graptoveria ‘Nyla Blue’ needs free draining soil to thrive. We recommend a mixture of 1/3 John Innes no.2, 1/3 perlite and 1/3 coconut coir. The soil mix we offer here is similar in composition to this.

x Graptoveria ‘Nyla Blue’

x Graptoveria ‘Nyla Blue' is the blue form of the much desired x Graptoveria ‘Nyla’. They are from the same seed batch as x Graptoveria ‘Supernova’ but are very different.

Combinations of bright-pink and elegant blue create a beautiful gradient similar to some of the most gorgeous sunsets. Everchanging throughout the year. The colour is astonishing, as is the form. Like the x Graptoveria ‘Supernova’, it is a spiralling plant once mature. This plant is fast-growing, unlike the mutant ‘Nyla’ specimen.

Perfect plant to display in your collection.
