This highly prized and characteristic Haworthia cooperi ‘Amber’ is packed with detail, colour and form. When the Sun aluminates the foliage the translucent leaves erupt into the most incredibly dazzling display and looks just like a living crystal.
As the lime green leaves develop from the centre of the plant, the fine white mosaic markings slowly separate and spread out as the leaves grow allowing for the crystal-like windows to develop.
As the outer leaves age, they darken giving the plant an almost variegated appearance.
As the Haworthia grows it will produce offsets and in time these offsets can be removed to create new plants to be potted up separately.
If you are looking for a houseplant that is compact and easy to grow, then Haworthias have to be top of that list.”
