Echeveria pulidonis quick care tips

Watering

Echeveria pulidonis is a drought-tolerant succulent variety, so watering around once per week in the peak growing season is advised. Ensure the soil dries between waterings. It is also advised to completely stop watering when conditions are frosty, keeping the plant dry for several months at a time.

Feeding

Echeveria pulidonis likes to be fed to bring out its best forms and colours. We recommend feeding with a liquid seaweed feed every 2 weeks in the main growing season from April to September. A feed we recommend is the one from our friends at LittleGreenSeaweed.

Ideal soil

Echeveria pulidonis needs free draining soil to thrive. We recommend a mixture of 1/3 John Innes no.2, 1/3 perlite and 1/3 coconut coir. The soil mix we offer here is similar in composition to this. Adding extra grit may be useful to add even more drainage for these desert-dwellers.

Echeveria pulidonis

A species mostly native to Mexico.

Echeveria pulidonis has distinct red edges on all of its leaves, which intensify in strong light along with a bluer leaf. It offsets freely and has beautiful pure yellow flowers.

A great plant for a standalone pot or a succulent bed. Can grow to a large size if given the space.
