Echeveria 'Fleur Blanc' quick care tips

Watering

Echeveria 'Fleur Blanc' is a drought-tolerant succulent variety, so watering around once per week in the peak growing season is advised. Ensure the soil dries between waterings. It is also advised to completely stop watering when conditions are frosty, keeping the plant dry for several months at a time.

Feeding

Echeveria 'Fleur Blanc' likes to be fed to bring out its best forms and colours. We recommend feeding with a liquid seaweed feed every 2 weeks in the main growing season from April to September. A feed we recommend is the one from our friends at LittleGreenSeaweed.

Ideal soil

Echeveria 'Fleur Blanc' needs free draining soil to thrive. We recommend a mixture of 1/3 John Innes no.2, 1/3 perlite and 1/3 coconut coir. The soil mix we offer here is similar in composition to this. Adding extra grit may be useful to add even more drainage for these desert-dwellers.

Echeveria 'Fleur Blanc'

Echeveria 'Fleur Blanc' grows as a single rosette with a wonderful white/grey pastel colouring, once potted up it will produce new offsets each one capable of producing beautiful jewel-like bright orange flowers.

Echeveria's are fast becoming the ideal houseplants, they love sitting on sunny windowsills and take little time and care to look after, water when the soil is dry, a watering indicator is a good tool to use.

Possibly a US hybrid.
