Crassula ‘Lucky Star’ is a close relative of Crassula ‘Baby Necklace’, consisting of the same parentage (Crassula rupestris x Crassula perforata) but seems to have taken more of the perforata form.
This hybrid adds the beautiful red blush of the rupestris, along with the thinner leaves, to the size and height of the perforata. Crassula rupestris is quite a dominant species, with a lot of hybrids of the plant looking more like itself rather than the other parent, so a plant like this is a rare find.
