Agave americana 'Mediopicta Alba'
Agave americana 'Mediopicta Alba'
Agave americana 'Mediopicta Alba' is one of the most attractive and desirable Agave variegates around. It has the most alluring cream stripe running up the centre of each of its grey/blue leaves.
A robust grower that makes the most stunning architectural pot plant, they can grow to an astonishing size. Once matured after 10 years, they can survive temperatures to as low as -8*c for short periods of time.
They can grow up to 1.2 metres in height and spread, and over their lifetime they will produce plenty of baby pups which can be removed and grown on in their own pots.
Pot on during the spring into a free-draining gritty succulent compost, mix with a little bit of slow-release fertilizer.
Protect from winter wet.
All plants sent out bare root.
