x Pachyveria 'Angel's Finger' quick care tips

Watering

x Pachyveria 'Angel's Finger' is a drought-tolerant succulent variety, so watering around once per week in the peak growing season is advised. Ensure the soil dries between waterings following the 3 Ds: drench, drain and dry. It is also advised to completely stop watering when conditions are frosty, keeping the plant dry for several months at a time over winter.

Feeding

x Pachyveria 'Angel's Finger' likes to be fed to bring out its best forms and colours. We recommend feeding with a liquid seaweed feed every 2 weeks in the main growing season from April to September.

Ideal soil

x Pachyveria 'Angel's Finger' needs free draining soil to thrive. We recommend a mixture of 1/3 John Innes no.2, 1/3 perlite and 1/3 coconut coir. The soil mix we offer here is similar in composition to this.

The unique colouring and the immense flowering display this Pachyveria produces is truly stunning

It’s red/purple leaf colouring coupled with the marbling effect on the upright finger shaped leaves gives this succulent its own identity. We have found it to be a very strong and fast grower staying compact and holding great form. It’s an ideal plant to be enjoyed in different situations, it’s definitely one to try vertically or in a mixed succulent container planter.

The flower stalks start appearing in March, then the flowers fully open in April/May time.
