x Graptosedum 'Cesar' quick care tips

Watering

x Graptosedum 'Cesar' is a drought-tolerant succulent variety, so watering around once per week in the peak growing season is advised. Ensure the soil dries between waterings following the 3 Ds: drench, drain and dry. It is also advised to completely stop watering when conditions are frosty, keeping the plant dry for several months at a time over winter.

Feeding

x Graptosedum 'Cesar' likes to be fed to bring out its best forms and colours. We recommend feeding with a liquid seaweed feed every 2 weeks in the main growing season from April to September. A feed we recommend is the one from our friends at LittleGreenSeaweed.

Ideal soil

x Graptosedum 'Cesar' needs free draining soil to thrive. We recommend a mixture of 1/3 John Innes no.2, 1/3 perlite and 1/3 coconut coir. The soil mix we offer here is similar in composition to this.

x Graptosedum 'Cesar'

An intergeneric hybrid of Sedum adolphii and Graptopetalum.

x Graptosedum 'Cesar' is a delicate, fast-growing hybrid with pastel colours ranging from pale green to deep orange in strong light. It offsets readily with reasonable care, forming a clump to fill a space in an arrangement or to fill to the edges of a pot when potted alone. Flowers in early summer with yellow star-shaped flowers on short stems.

Will be happy indoors on a bright windowsill or outdoors all year due to its hardy Sedum parentage.
