Echeveria laui x Pachyphytum oviferum quick care tips
Watering
Watering
Echeveria laui x Pachyphytum oviferum is a drought-tolerant succulent variety, so watering around once per week in the peak growing season is advised. Ensure the soil dries between waterings. It is also advised to completely stop watering when conditions are frosty, keeping the plant dry for several months at a time.
Feeding
Feeding
Echeveria laui x Pachyphytum oviferum likes to be fed to bring out its best forms and colours. We recommend feeding with a liquid seaweed feed every 2 weeks in the main growing season from April to September. A feed we recommend is the one from our friends at LittleGreenSeaweed.
Ideal soil
Ideal soil
Echeveria laui x Pachyphytum oviferum needs free draining soil to thrive. We recommend a mixture of 1/3 John Innes no.2, 1/3 perlite and 1/3 coconut coir. The soil mix we offer here is similar in composition to this. Adding extra grit may be useful to add even more drainage for these desert-dwellers.

Echeveria laui x Pachyphytum oviferum
A great hybrid combining the lovely delicate form of Echeveria laui with the chunky Pachphytum oviferum.
This plant features large ghost-blue leaves that form an asymmetrical rosette, extremely exciting to grow. In strong light, it will take on lovely yellow/red tint colours at the margins.
A brilliant hybrid, looks great planted on its own.
