Echeveria 'Green Rose' quick care tips

Watering

Echeveria 'Green Rose' is a drought-tolerant succulent variety, so watering around once per week in the peak growing season is advised. Ensure the soil dries between waterings. It is also advised to completely stop watering when conditions are frosty, keeping the plant dry for several months at a time.

Feeding

Echeveria 'Green Rose' likes to be fed to bring out its best forms and colours. We recommend feeding with a liquid seaweed feed every 2 weeks in the main growing season from April to September.

Ideal soil

Echeveria 'Green Rose' needs free draining soil to thrive. We recommend a mixture of 1/3 John Innes no.2, 1/3 perlite and 1/3 coconut coir. The soil mix we offer here is similar in composition to this. Adding extra grit may be useful to add even more drainage for these desert-dwellers.

A hybrid of unknown origin.

Stunning green colours with red edges and tips. The rosette has a beautiful form, similar to a rose. Under strong light, the tips will pinken and the leaves will display a beach sand-yellow in colour. It will shoot off big flowers consisting of bell-shaped heads of orange and pink colouring.

A great addition to a windowsill. Easy to grow.
