Echeveria fulgens is a species found mostly across Mexico. Rumoured to be a close relative of the Echeveria gibbiflora.
A delightful species with slender curving leaves that feature a range of colours from turquoise-blue to candy-pink in the strongest light. It will bloom in the summer with orange and pink flowers.
A perfect indoor plant, it would sit nicely on a windowsill. It can grow to a large size so may make for a great feature plant in your garden if you can keep the frost off.

How often should I water Echeveria fulgens? 💦 +
The key to watering Echeveria fulgens is to “soak and dry”. Water thoroughly, then allow the soil to completely dry before watering again. In active growth, this may be every 1–2 weeks, depending on conditions. In cooler months or dormancy, reduce or stop watering to prevent rot. It is recommended to use pots with drainage holes and never let succulents sit in standing water. Overwatering is the most common cause of succulent problems.

Echeveria fulgens needs free-draining soil to thrive. Use a specialist cactus and succulent mix, or blend compost with horticultural grit, sand, or perlite. This keeps the roots aerated and prevents excess moisture, which can cause root rot.
