Echeveria 'Echo' quick care tips

Watering

Echeveria 'Echo' is a drought-tolerant succulent variety, so watering around once per week in the peak growing season is advised. Ensure the soil dries between waterings. It is also advised to completely stop watering when conditions are frosty, keeping the plant dry for several months at a time.

Feeding

Echeveria 'Echo' likes to be fed to bring out its best forms and colours. We recommend feeding with a liquid seaweed feed every 2 weeks in the main growing season from April to September.

Ideal soil

Echeveria 'Echo' needs free draining soil to thrive. We recommend a mixture of 1/3 John Innes no.2, 1/3 perlite and 1/3 coconut coir. The soil mix we offer here is similar in composition to this. Adding extra grit may be useful to add even more drainage for these desert-dwellers.

Echeveria 'Echo'

A captivating succulent known for its powdery blue-gray leaves adorned with irregular red blotches. The rosette forms a tight, symmetrical shape, and the contrast between the cool-toned foliage and bold red markings intensifies under bright light.

This variety thrives in well-draining soil and prefers bright, indirect sunlight. It's a slow-growing succulent that adds a dramatic touch to any collection.

The exact parentage of 'Echo' remains unknown, and while it's often associated with Korean hybrids, definitive information about its origin is not readily available.
