Aeonium rubrolineatum quick care tips
Watering
Watering
The Aeonium rubrolineatum would like watering between once and twice per week in the peak growing season. It is advised to reduce watering when plants are dormant due to a heatwave and to significantly reduce/ stop watering when conditions are frosty.
Feeding
Feeding
Aeonium rubrolineatum likes to be fed to bring out its best forms and colours. We recommend feeding with a liquid seaweed feed every 2 weeks in the main growing season from April to September.
Ideal soil
Ideal soil
Aeonium rubrolineatum needs free draining soil to thrive. We recommend a mixture of 1/3 John Innes no.2, 1/3 perlite and 1/3 coconut coir. The soil mix we offer here is similar in composition to this.
Aeonium rubrolineatum
A species native to La Gomera. It is similar to Aeonium holochrysum and Aeonium manriquiorum but is larger with bright yellow-green leaves which show orange tints in full sun. It will grow vigorously to 1.5m and has unusual (for an Aeonium) orange-yellow flowers.
