Aeonium cuneatum quick care tips
Watering
Watering
The Aeonium cuneatum would like watering between once and twice per week in the peak growing season. It is advised to reduce watering when plants are dormant due to a heatwave and to significantly reduce/ stop watering when conditions are frosty.
Feeding
Feeding
Aeonium cuneatum likes to be fed to bring out its best forms and colours. We recommend feeding with a liquid seaweed feed every 2 weeks in the main growing season from April to September.
Ideal soil
Ideal soil
Aeonium cuneatum needs free draining soil to thrive. We recommend a mixture of 1/3 John Innes no.2, 1/3 perlite and 1/3 coconut coir. The soil mix we offer here is similar in composition to this.
Aeonium cuneatum
Latin for wedge-shaped, this Aeonium has a large cup-like rosette and no stem.
The leaves are light green and smooth. It offshoots readily to form a large clump. The flower is yellow and like some Aeoniums, this species is self-seeding.
Perfect as a potted feature plant. Grown from seed.
