The Aeonium arboreum v. holochrysum would like watering between once and twice per week in the peak growing season. It is advised to reduce watering when plants are dormant due to a heatwave and to significantly reduce/ stop watering when conditions are frosty.

Aeonium arboreum v. holochrysum likes to be fed to bring out its best forms and colours. We recommend feeding with a liquid seaweed feed every 2 weeks in the main growing season from April to September. A feed we recommend is the one from our friends at LittleGreenSeaweed.

Aeonium arboreum v. holochrysum needs free draining soil to thrive. We recommend a mixture of 1/3 John Innes no.2, 1/3 perlite and 1/3 coconut coir. The soil mix we offer here is similar in composition to this.
Aeonium arboreum v. holochrysum
Aeonium arboreum var. holochrysum are common in there natural habitat in the Canary Islands but not often found in cultivation. It is branching and can grow to a good size (1 metre+) and in strong sunlight, the leaves can turn a reddish-brown colour.
