Echeveria 'Salsa Verde' quick care tips
Watering
Watering
Echeveria 'Salsa Verde' is a drought-tolerant succulent variety, so watering around once per week in the peak growing season is advised. Ensure the soil dries between waterings. It is also advised to completely stop watering when conditions are frosty, keeping the plant dry for several months at a time.
Feeding
Feeding
Echeveria 'Salsa Verde' likes to be fed to bring out its best forms and colours. We recommend feeding with a liquid seaweed feed every 2 weeks in the main growing season from April to September.
Ideal soil
Ideal soil
Echeveria 'Salsa Verde' needs free draining soil to thrive. We recommend a mixture of 1/3 John Innes no.2, 1/3 perlite and 1/3 coconut coir. The soil mix we offer here is similar in composition to this. Adding extra grit may be useful to add even more drainage for these desert-dwellers.

Echeveria 'Salsa Verde'
Echeveria 'Salsa Verde' is a hybrid of Echeveria longissima x Echeveria canaliculata created by C.H. Uhl.
A great name for a really nice Echeveria with really bright, attractive colours. In winter it is a striking bright green and in summer it takes on red and yellow hues.
This hybrid would look great planted with other rare varieties due to its unusual form. It will sit perfectly on a bright windowsill.
