Echeveria 'Cornish Delight' quick care tips

Echeveria 'Cornish Delight' is a drought-tolerant succulent variety, so watering around once per week in the peak growing season is advised. Ensure the soil dries between waterings. It is also advised to completely stop watering when conditions are frosty, keeping the plant dry for several months at a time.

Echeveria 'Cornish Delight' likes to be fed to bring out its best forms and colours. We recommend feeding with a liquid seaweed feed every 2 weeks in the main growing season from April to September.

Echeveria 'Cornish Delight' needs free draining soil to thrive. We recommend a mixture of 1/3 John Innes no.2, 1/3 perlite and 1/3 coconut coir. The soil mix we offer here is similar in composition to this. Adding extra grit may be useful to add even more drainage for these desert-dwellers.

Echeveria 'Cornish Delight'

A 2016 hybrid of Echeveria colorata by Surreal Succulents. An incredibly sought after Echeveria due to its difficulty in usual methods of propagation.
This plant features slate-blue colouring that is a perfect demonstration of the Cornish sea in summer. The leaves will blush coral-pink under high light levels.
An excellent specimen, worthy of a standalone pot. It can grow to quite a big size due to its colorata parentage.

It's as wonderful as its name suggests. A true Cornwell gem. I was thrilled to come across this variety.
