Aeonium ‘Kilimanjaro’ is a reversion of Aeonium ‘Medusa’, this means the original offset was found growing on the A. ‘Medusa’.
The variegation on the Aeonium ‘Kilimanjaro’ starts with a creamy yellow/green on the inside of the leaves running into a deep purple, the variegation in the leaves is much more vivid during the winter, they can also be grown in a shadier spot during the summer to enhance the variegation.
The centre rosette will eventually grow on a tall stem, and as it grows it will produce multiple stems of evenly spaced offsets, each one a clone of the original mother plant.
