Aeonium 'Emerald Ice' quick care tips

Watering

The Aeonium 'Emerald Ice' would like watering between once and twice per week in the peak growing season. It is advised to reduce watering when plants are dormant due to a heatwave and to significantly reduce/ stop watering when conditions are frosty.

Feeding

Aeonium 'Emerald Ice' likes to be fed to bring out its best forms and colours. We recommend feeding with a liquid seaweed feed every 2 weeks in the main growing season from April to September. A feed we recommend is the one from our friends at LittleGreenSeaweed.

Ideal soil

Aeonium 'Emerald Ice' needs free draining soil to thrive. We recommend a mixture of 1/3 John Innes no.2, 1/3 perlite and 1/3 coconut coir. The soil mix we offer here is similar in composition to this.

Aeonium 'Emerald Ice'

Aeonium 'Emerald Ice' is a wonderful and beautiful hybrid created by Renee O'Connell.

This variegated beauty is incredibly rewarding as it always looks perfect no matter what time of the year.

Each lime coloured leaf produces these delightful white margins, during the spring you will see this slightly pink blushing to the older leaves.

For best growth results keep the Aeonium out of the midday sun especially during the summer, water when the soil dries.
