Watering
Watering
x Sedeveria 'Pudgy' is a drought-tolerant succulent variety, so watering around once per week in the peak growing season is advised. Ensure the soil dries between waterings following the 3 Ds: drench, drain and dry. It is also advised to completely stop watering when conditions are frosty, keeping the plant dry for several months at a time over winter.
Feeding
Feeding
x Sedeveria 'Pudgy' likes to be fed to bring out its best forms and colours. We recommend feeding with a liquid seaweed feed every 2 weeks in the main growing season from April to September. A feed we recommend is the one from our friends at LittleGreenSeaweed.
Ideal soil
Ideal soil
x Sedeveria 'Pudgy' needs free draining soil to thrive. We recommend a mixture of 1/3 John Innes no.2, 1/3 perlite and 1/3 coconut coir. The soil mix we offer here is similar in composition to this.

x Sedeveria 'Pudgy'
x Sedeveria ‘Pudgy’ is a US hybrid that is rumoured to be Sedum clavatum x Echeveria derenbergii.
Along with its beautiful mix of the two mothers comes one incredibly special feature - during the summer and warmer months, the plant develops a smell of vanilla. Like Sedum clavatum, the leaves are very fleshy and shows colours of bright-blue but then features a tight rosette and pink tips inherited from its other parent, Echeveria derenbergii. This hybrid blooms in spring throwing off the beautiful flower shapes with colours of white and orange.
A perfect plant to contrast in your succulent bowl. Give it some space and it should offset a lot, just like Sedum clavatum.
