x Graptosedum 'Mediterranean Mystery' quick care tips

Watering

x Graptosedum 'Mediterranean Mystery' is a drought-tolerant succulent variety, so watering around once per week in the peak growing season is advised. Ensure the soil dries between waterings following the 3 Ds: drench, drain and dry. It is also advised to completely stop watering when conditions are frosty, keeping the plant dry for several months at a time over winter.

Feeding

x Graptosedum 'Mediterranean Mystery' likes to be fed to bring out its best forms and colours. We recommend feeding with a liquid seaweed feed every 2 weeks in the main growing season from April to September.

Ideal soil

x Graptosedum 'Mediterranean Mystery' needs free draining soil to thrive. We recommend a mixture of 1/3 John Innes no.2, 1/3 perlite and 1/3 coconut coir. The soil mix we offer here is similar in composition to this.

x Graptosedum 'Mediterranean Mystery'

A hybrid of unknown parentage.

x Graptosedum 'Mediterranean Mystery' is a stunning hybrid that consists of a perfectly formed rosette that features small yet fierce leaves. It doesn't grow big but will clump to fill any space. An absolutely stunning plant. It offsets readily with branching stems. The flowers are star-shaped and white and yellow in colour. These appear in late spring/summer.

An amazing hybrid, great in terrariums or other planted displays.

  • Choose a pot with a drainage hole if you can’t limit the watering (outdoors). A pot with no drainage hole can be used as long as you water moderately. A pot with a hole tends to be more forgiving. Also, as it is slightly breathable, a terracotta pot is usually preferred over a plastic pot, but the succulents dont seem to mind too much.
